Mr. Wittke, Managing Director of SALETELLIGENCE GmbH, reported on daily practical experiences in the context of his lecture “Quick Data instead of only Big Data – the end of the BI mega-projects” at the 12th Annual Forum of the Pharma Sales Force on October 11th, 2016.

He took a look at current situations and challenges many decision makers in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries are facing. Often, there exists a contradiction between the required all-in-one solution (Integrating all departments, all data sources often also on a global or international scale etc.) as well as the corresponding project time frames and the need for fast decisions. Mr. Wittke provided intensive insights into SALETELLIGENCE’s customer-oriented approach.

One of the good resolutions of SALETELLIGENCE for the year 2016 was a charity project. What was closer than the healthcare sector and what would have made more sense than a development work for an organization like the North Star Alliance, which is active in development aid.

Northstar Alliance has set itself the goal of providing medical support to hard-to-reach populations such as truck drivers or prostitutes, and to make a lasting contribution to improving their livelihoods. Within 9 years, this organization has built 30 semi-mobile clinics in reconstructed containers at traffic points, which are well recognizable thanks to their design in a typical blue.

Truckdrivers and turnboys can participate in the bonus program “Stardriver”. Health tests are mandatory. Preventive training is voluntary. Each test and each training results in points that are credited as bonus points and give rise to a payment after a certain period of time. SALETELLIGENCE was now required to develop a system to capture master data and track the bonus points across multiple locations and countries. The developed system found such a great response that the desire was expressed to convert the whole CRM system to the new software.

At the two SALETELLIGENCE clinic days in Munich and Frankfurt the participants gained insights on marketing and sales within the hospital sector.

Our conference series with lectures and case studies has been a great success again in its 4th edition and was well appreciated by the participants.

The first module centered around the topic of case-based potential evaluations and their implementations within specific tools. The SALETELLIGENCE clinic navigator has been introduced as our standard solution to analyse the quality reports of German acute hospitals. On this basis, Jürgen Hain, Health Service Manager at Smiths Medical Deutschland GmbH, reported on the sales enabling tool “CustomerConnect” which combines potential and sales data and provides comprehensive instruments facilitating customer management.

In a further module, new ways of market transparency in the area of medical supplies have been presented. Felix Pintgen, Global Director Health & Medical at GfK introduced the GFK hospital panel whereby concrete information on hospital consumption patterns are available. Complementary, SALETELLIGENCE presented solutions and case studies on the basis of anonymised  panel information.

The event was completed by presentations on mobile territory solutions and key opinion leader management. In this context, Andreas Palenga, Business Analyst at Actelion Pharmaceuticals Deutschland GmbH, reported on concrete project experiences with SALETELLIGENCE.

This year, too, the SALETELLIGENCE Christmas bakery was working to capacity and the first cookies are already on their way.
